Built for
a counter we
stand behind.
CodeBold IT Solutions did not set out to make a product. A shop needed a till that also knew what was in the stockroom, and every option was half of that: a POS plugin that had never met a supplier, or an inventory plugin that had never taken a sale.
So the pieces were built in the order a shop actually needs them — order it, receive it, label it, sell it, cash up, count it — and then kept in one plugin, because that is the only way the cost learned at receiving ends up behind the margin on the till.
Everything on this site is either something the software does today or something marked as not shipped. There is nothing on it we would be embarrassed to be asked about in week one.
What we will not claim
An install count we cannot verify. A customer list we do not have. A browser till that charges a card, which no browser till does.
What we will
Forty-one automated test suites driving the plugin the way the till does — through its own REST routes, against live orders and a real database. It is the reason we can change the payment screen on a Friday.
Where your data is
On your hosting, in the WooCommerce database you already back up. There is no cloud service in the middle, so there is nothing between you and your own sales figures.
Four rules
we keep.
Self-hosted, always
The till talks to your WordPress site and nothing else. A subscription buys updates and support. It does not buy permission to keep selling.
GPL, without the asterisk
Every plugin. A GPL licence cannot restrict what you do with the code, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest.
One set of numbers
Sales are written through WooCommerce's own order system rather than kept in our tables. The counter, the website and your accountant read one figure because there is one figure.
Nothing moves unrecorded
Every stock movement carries who, when and why. It is the answer to "where did those six go?", and it is not optional.
