There is no certified hardware programme here and nothing to buy from us. The till runs in a browser and prints through your operating system, which means the compatibility list is roughly 'things that already work on that computer'.
Scanners
and printers.
Two categories cover almost every counter, and neither needs anything installed alongside the plugin.
Barcode scanners
Any USB or Bluetooth scanner that behaves as a keyboard — HID, or keyboard wedge, which is the overwhelming majority of them. It types into the till's scan field. No driver, no setup, and nothing to pair with the plugin.
The camera, as a scanner
On phones and tablets the till can read a barcode through the browser's own detection. It checks whether the device supports it and hides the option where it does not, and if camera permission is refused it says so rather than quietly doing nothing.
Receipt printers
Any thermal or A4 printer the operating system can already print to. The receipt is rendered in an off-screen frame with its own 80mm stylesheet and sent through the browser to the OS driver.
Label printers
Sheet labels in Avery-style grids, or a dedicated label printer — the same print path either way. A calibration sheet prints the label outlines and a 100mm ruler, so you can check scale and position before spending a sheet of labels finding out.
Three things

These are the ones that cost somebody a morning if they find out after the shop has opened. So they are on the page rather than in a support reply.
The cash drawer does not open on its own
The Open drawer button records an audit event — who opened it, when, during which shift. It does not send a kick signal, so a drawer wired to a receipt printer's RJ11 port will not open. You open it by hand.
There is a print dialog
Every receipt goes through the browser's print dialog. One-tap printing straight to a thermal printer needs WebUSB and ESC/POS, and that is not built. On a fast queue this is one extra confirmation per sale.
No customer-facing display
There is no second screen showing the customer their running total. If your counter needs one, it is not here.
We would rather lose the sale here than in week one.
We do not
sell hardware.
No bundles, no starter kits, no reseller margin. Buy a scanner locally, use the printer you have, and keep the terminal already sitting on your counter — the till records a card tender against the order, it does not drive the reader.
The practical consequence is that a second till costs you a tablet, not a package.
A counter, minimally
A tablet or laptop with a browser, and a keyboard-wedge scanner if you sell barcoded goods. That is a working till.
Add when it hurts
A thermal receipt printer when customers start asking for paper. A label printer when stock keeps arriving without barcodes.
Cards
Your existing terminal, unchanged. Nothing to certify, nothing to re-sign, and no processor of ours to move to.
